About us

We choose to only buy Cacao Beans from our Neighbours in the PACIFIC.
Vanuatu ~ Papua New Guinea ~ Samoa.

Now we are getting to know our Growers and creating Connection there. Understanding their Cacao growing and fermenting processes and paying a sound price for their hard work then tracing the journey of the Cacao direct to New Zealand and to us in Raglan, is part of the Bean-to-Bar ethos.

Then Mike the MAKER does his magic with the Cacao; roasting, winnowing, conching, tempering, molding ... to create our CHOCOLATE Bars. The Single Origin (vegan) Bars from Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Samoa - have their own inherent flavours, where each Farm and Island shine through to show the taster that not all Chocolate is created equal.
Bars are hand-wrapped and sent to you by Simone.

Also created at Raglan CHOCOLATE are our fun (dairy) Bars using Ginger, oven-Caramelised milk chocolate and roasted Cacao nibbly bits.
