With a love for locally sourced produce and years of cooking in Sydney’s restaurants, I combined this love and passion to create Crumpets by Merna.
My crumpets are fermented small batch crumpets, with a focus on using the best local produce. We use Pepe Saya Buttermilk, Australian wholemeal flour and Olsson’s sea salt.
We serve them up weekly at Carriageworks Farmers Markets, we deliver across Australia and supply to restaurants, cafes, hotels and airlines across Australia.
The versatility of a Crumpet enables for endless pairing and opportunities which makes our Crumpets in 5 Flavours perfect for any menu. Being the perfect base for any sweet or savoury creation ranging from simple pairing of jam and butter to substantial meals like pulled Beef Eggs Benedict.
